Found out my shock was dead when I removed it to drop the pan yesterday, and what a difference a new one made.

If you don't have one. Get one. If your not sure of yours condition, pop a bolt and test it.

What a tightness difference, smoothness. Barely any road vibration on the wheel now. Even the ABS pulsation is barely noticable.

Unbelievable.

P/N, brand , length, etc.

Thanks,

Napa SC-2942. 34.00 Not sure on length. Tenneco Auto the box reads.

I'll put the nice Rancho- RS9000 adjustable shocks in her soon, For the weight dialin ability and to crank em up when plow is loaded.

For teh stabilizer shock I just went with the only one they had in stock.

By hand you can barely compress/extend it.

I would skip the rancho. I had always ran them in the past but thought they needed to be turned up all the way to work even without the plow. Go with the bilsteins, you won't be sorry.

Good advice from someone who's been there/done that. Thanks for the info. Billsteins HD it is then.

I am not saying they were bad but to me they had to be on the highest setting all the time so there was no point of it being adjustable. I bet on a 1/2 ton gas truck it would be usefull.

Yep, spent all day driving between 6 jobs, admiring the tight-smoothness of my rig... Everytime I parked and walked away or towards the rig, there was the ground. COMPLETELY DRY.

Things are good.
