my 94 k2500 has a death wobble it will start shaking like mad and then go away at random 4wd 6.5 turbo it did this with one set of tires so i changed the tires rims and all chked all the linkage ball joints feel good. could it be a brake caliber locking up? brake hoses plugged (flex) or shocks? its driving me crazy all three of my trucks has never did this before. hey turbine doc you had a simular problem like this several months ago. trucks has 220,000 miles on her. get one thing fixed another come up.

Is the shake in the seat or the steering wheel? Front rear test... When does the shake start?

CV shafts could have a binding joint. U-joints. Steering damper condition? You checked everything on the steering including the steering box?

thanks i will check the steering damper also will go thru all joints again. it is the front wheel i am sure it is the left side.

did not read codes for steering problems, but i will it has had very sensitive steering ever since i had it.
