So I found out that SSBC makes a 14.5" Rotor Upgrade Kit for 99-07 2500's. Comes with the bigger Rotors and Relocation Bracket for the Caliper.

I was looking into getting it, but I had a thought.

With the OE Brake Setup, the Pad pretty much Covers / Contacts the entire Rotor Surface.

But, with the 14.5" Rotor Upgrade, yea, you get a bigger Rotor, but the Pad stays the same size. So look here: http://ssbrakes.com/attachment/63415-Instruction Manual and scroll to the bottom so you can see what the setup looks like when it's assembled. Look at all the Unused Rotor Surface towards the Middle due to having to use the same size Pads.

So...is this REALLY an Upgrade? Yea, you got a Bigger Rotor, but you're still using the same size Pad and leaving a decent amount of the Rotor Surface untouched.

It gives you more leverage against the wheel, and more cooling area. Probably wouldn't notice a huge difference unless you were towing in the mountains...
