My brake pedal has been a little spongy the past couple of months but when I slam it hard it is as stiff as a board.

I just replaced the front bad calipers and bled the system and they are still spongy. Could this be a power booster or an issue w/ the something else?

Could be the ABS isn't satisfied with your bleeding proceedure. I believe you have to cycle them (ABS system) either with a tech II or actual use. Take it out on a grassy area and lock it up. I'd say snow but you probably don't get much of that...:hihi:

I would bleed the brakes again.
If the spongy pedal persists i woul flush/change the PS fluid.
I never needed a scan tool for the brakes:nonod:

Do a thorough flush, aka bleeding till fresh fluid comes out at all 4 corners, then go find a dirt road and get the ABS to actuate, drive straight back home and bleed again. You may have to do this more than once.
