So I bought a replacement fender for my Dually from Sherman Industies for my Dually. They suck to deal with. It took forver to get shipped, they charged my Credit card twice(they resolved it). OK Not that big a deal considering a new one from Chevy was not even available and listed at 900$. Sherman one worked out to about 500$ / shipping. So about a week ago the weather was warm for a few days so I went for it. What a POS this thing is. It is 2 inches longer than the factory one so I had to redrill 5 of the holes in the bed. It's thin as shit. The way the studs are attached to it is very very weak and I suspect will eventually come lose comparing to the quality of the factory one. I should have just taken the factory one to a good body shop and had it fixed(I don't do fiberglass.) The thing had more waves than Oprah's ass and the peaks were all crooked. I spent 4 hrs skinning it with bondo and Polyester filler to get it reasonably smooth for Black Paint. It's on and doesn't look too bad but what junk. I would never buy from them again. I'll have more pics hopefully tommorow of it painted and installed.

That name rings a bell. I think that was who made my front bumper brackets. The right side brackets fit fine. The left side brackets were way off. They are still on the shop floor. They were so far off I tweaked the old brackets and put them back on as apposed to even trying to do anything with the new ones.

i need new rear fenders too, good thing i'm not at that point of my fix up yet and ordered something like that.

hopefully someone chimes in here with a good place to get them ;)

You get what you pay for here I guess. Want twice the quality, pay twice the cost.

I guess be greatful you even have the option.

Well the GM one wasn't even avaialable and may still not be. I should have had the old one fixed. It wasn't that bad but I don't know how to properly repair fiberglass so for me it was easier to replace it but a GOOD fiberglass man can fix it as good or better than new. I saved the old fender in case this new POS cracks or falls off. You expect some minor quality differences from factory but this one I bought is garbage. The pounded the thing with featherfill to hide all the imperfections. I spent 4 hrs making it halfway decent. Black deltron is the worst too. It pulls bodywork like mad.
