Service 'transmission' soon light flickers. (This engine has like 2 sensors for the ECM with the DB2.) Flickers usually while stopping. No codes. Also will drop out of OD for a sec and then goes back in to OD.

The speedo will flick to 30 MPH from time to time as well. Usually while parked. But this is rare, but notable.

Trans was rebuilt with new electronics.

Bump. Someone has had to have had this issue. Hopefully not just the last owner...

Admins please move to transmissions if necessary.

Check the engine RPM sensor for a crack in the cap.
It would also help if you had a scanner to watch the data steam while driving.

is there a VSS on 1993s? Im pretty sure there is. Doesnt the thing have to ground via the bolt that holds it in? I would try removing, and cleaning the VSS, and if that doesnt do it, then possibly change the VSS.
