To those at Suncoast please look at the frictions before you put them in the package please. FOr guys like me who arent full service tranny shops and dont have extra parts laying around we cant afford to have messed up frictions.

I was going good on a SC IV install on an 02 when i opened up the C4s to soak them and found this.

Needless to say I am not happy right now. The guy im doing this for needs his truck so i said i would get it done for him ASAP. And now the soonest I might get it done is tuesday. Plus I need the lift before then and now a truck is tied up on it.

There is no evidence that the material was stuck to anything in the package it ws just simply shipped out that way.

I understand mistakes happen but on a $3,000 kit and when it involves trucks that need to be back on the road ASAP 90% of the time, stupid little mistakes like this cant happen.

I like the Suncoast trannies but lately other aspects of the company have made me look for other options.

Thats my rant for now.

Maybe they "threw" the kit together...
I would be pissed....

might want to think about getting parts from mike L hes putting his own kits together and will take care of you. big dipper is another that could most definately help you out.

Im waiting for mike to realease his kit. Ive got an 05 LLY that i do all the work on and he wants a built trans and id like to try Mikes out in his.

I got it cleared up today after a 1 hour roundabout on the phone.

That sucks dude, I know exactly what you mean. I run into the same crap all the time with Duramax parts, everything is ship direct and none of it is stocked at the PDC's:doh: Which means usually at least a weeks wait for me:mad:

Mines ordered, Hopefully it won't be like this. :pop2:

Maybe I should inspect everything myself before going to the builder, or just not touch it and let him take care of it?
