In the Wheels for You auto paper that is around here, I spotted a 6.5L powered 2-door tahoe. i figured that since it isn't mine, I should not be posting in the classified area. I also figure you guys would like me to post up this ad!

It is a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe 2-Door, 6.5L diesel, 4x4, 1-owner, excellent condition. The asking price is $9,850. The picture shows it is light blue, it has running boards, and it has factory alloys.

The dealer it is at is Brown Chevrolet Buick out of Wamego Kansas, which is 10 minutes east of Manhattan on Hwy 24. Claims to be family owned and operated. Website is www.brownchevroletbuick.com
They have two locations: 4th street @ 785-456-9550 or hwy 24 @ 785-456-1227

Good luck and happy hunting to all. This thing looks fun to drive!

If it never saw salt it would seem on the high side of being in the ballpark. Considering it's location, I am thinking it isn't even in the right zip code, never mind the ballpark...who knows, maybe mine is worth more than I think...?

I really do not know why one-owner vehicles supposedly deserve a premium. I know a father-son team of cowboys that will destroy everything but the cummins in a 2500 dodge, which they bought new. their 97 (I think, maybe 96 or 98, 12V something) got junked last year, engine went to a pump. Anyone ever see a full turn of slack in a dodge? Or broken-in-half frames?

IMHO, one owner prices are not all their cracked up to be, it is the quality of owners, rather than the quantity!):h
