My truck has just started running warmer than usual. I replaced the thermostats, but still doing it. I have no coolant leaks that i can see. Maybe fan clutch? :noidea:

Never had that problem with my LLY but alot have. Don't know what's here but you could look over at DP and do a search. There were probably 20 or more threads about it. There'll be an awful lot of reading to do...;)

Is the more of a sudden thing instead of the overheating LLY issue?

Yeah, it just happened all of a sudden after i tromped it once real good. Now it goes to like 230*F, kinda hangs around there if i'm driving. And cools back down though when i sit and idle.

Usually a fan clutch will give you more problems when idling, but thats not to say that its not your problem. You may also want to check and make sure there isn't any blockage in front of your radiator (ie: bugs, grass, dirt, road debris....)

I changed thermostats. Still does it, flat ground seems to be ok, when i start getting in small hills, temp rises to like i said to around 230* and hovers there, let off and it will start to cool down a little. When i park and idle it'll cool back to normal operating temp. When i changed the thermostats that pipe looks a little nasty, maybe the rad. is gummed up a little. Then again a blown headgasket, but let's hope not.
