Went on a little ATV ride weekend over the 4th in Hurly Wisconsin. 10 quads and 200 miles of mud, and dust. Wife rode a Honda Foreman 500 with power steering, needless to say it is now in our garage and Her 350 Rancher is going to the Daughter BF.....

Cool pics! I use to ride alot (like 2 years ago) but I've been busy and havent been going as much. I went for the 4th as well and had a blast! I have a 03 Honda Rubicon 500. I was thinking about getting a newer power steering Grizzly. :D

Ya those ranchers are awesome! There so light they go every where. Ther indestructale as well. You could practically drop them out of a air plane and drive them away when it hit the ground

Always been Hondas here, never had one quit...I'm the one who get's tired out chasing the kids ):h Had 90's, 250 ex's, 300's. 450's.....can't beat the family fun.

I've made a honda quit. It took 4 years and 3,000miles.
I wasnt too easy on it. Rings went out, front end went out, rear end went out, winch burned up, bearings went out like 4 times, then rings went out again, right before the ball-joints.

Awesome. I went out July 4th here as well. It was my first time wheelin' in Florida so I got a good change to check out the country side...Definitely no hills here but lots of water...

I'm going back out saturday. I'll take my camera with me this time.

Rubicon? How did it quit?
We lost our rubicon in the mississippi river and pulled it out and it ran fine one we got a new computer. Then it was stolen and stripped and found it again. Runs fine. :D

When I would go through mud where the tires had a hard time turning the quad would make a grinding sound at it wouldnt move fast. I took it to the dealer once and they said "we cant replicate the conditions you describing" :mad5: It started doing it again but worse so I took it in again and same thing. I was riding it again and after you got it hot it would make noise all the time and barely move. Took it to Honda and you could tell they thought I was full of shit, They came outside and went bug eyed when I could barely get the quad off my truck. It was a month out of the 3 month warranty but I brought it in on 2 months when the problems first started so they covered it!

When yours went in water did it start fine?

I drowned my rubicon to! Actually right behind where the first picture was taken. We were riding one day and I took it in the water to wash off. The exhaust went under and it stalled. I had to tow it out and on the truck. Took it home removed the spark plugs turned it over and drained the water, Tipped it on the back and got the water out of the exhaust changed the oil and it started fine! ):h

To start after you drown it you:
Drain airbox. tip back
Drain exhaust (crank over while tipped back)
Then run and check oil to see if its white. If it is pull it back or go a very short distance or your rings will be gone.
