I have been having a problem with the right front t/s blowing the fuse and 4 way flashers. If I park replace the fuse and move the wires it will work for hours. As soon as I start it up and start driving it will blow the fuse. Have checked the wires from the t/s up to the fire wall and find no problem. But when I move the wires by the left battery they keep flashing. Its a 1997 K3500 6.5 td crew cab. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Wow I missed this thread before.
One trick I learned in hunting turnsignal shorts or opens is replace the flasher with a jumper wire. Then you can chase the problem like a regular circuit.

Makes the job easier. Also instead of putting in fuses, buy self resetting circuit breakers of just for diagnostics- don't plug in and leave it.
