Last night I was at my buddy's shop doing a quick R&R on my shocks. First the fronts were for a 2"-4" lift, luckily we had some used Bilsteins from my wife's truck that will get me by until the new ones are swapped out for the right size.

The exciting part was when the truck shifted on the lift while I was starting under the truck, the truck started to tip towards the front, I grabbed the rear tire and held on while he lowered the lift.:tragedy::eek1:

We got it down okay and back up and done, that'll teach me to work on a truck sober.

Oh do I have story's of things like that.

I remember back in my young days @ 4wp's we had closed up and a few of us where hanging out and no crap the truck had already been on the lift (no one around it) and we heard a noise and looked over and started to see the truck shift and we all grabbed what we could to stop it and lowered it down.

The first time I ever took a wheel and tire off a Cat 966, I put the jack in the wrong place, the axel. I got the tire off with the help of another guy in the shop and the whole loader shifted like it was going to roll over on us. Lesson learned the hard way.
