stopped going into the accy position lately so I put a new one in $20. The new one is really stiff trying to pull the key in and out, but once there it functions good. Wasn't too bad of a job. Remove the lower column cover and then take out the upper screws (all torx), lift up the upper cover and with the key in the start position, use a 1/16" allen wrench put it in the release hole. I had help took a little bit more pressure than the allen wrench would take so a helper and a flat blade screwdriver to push down on it harder return to the run position and pull it out. Oh and disconnect the batts which when I did I found corrosion on my ground connection I wire brushed it and put some anti-ox on it, last time I used dielectric grease. Now my voltmeter reads higher

i did this a few months ago on the 93. was easy but time consuming for me. i wasn't sure my key was the prob so i looked beyond that, under the dash. what anti-ox did you use? i have had mixed results with dielectric grease myself.
