Rear Heat Delete??

I was out shopping today for our vacation next week and I noticed a puddle of coolant under the exhaust. I got underneath and one of the heater hoses is leaking badly.

My question is were is the best place to delete the rear heat? To me it looks like the Ts under the hood would be easiest? That way I could repair the rear at a later date. Will the existing coolant in the rear lines cause any problems or should I drain them?

Thanks a ton

Gus

You could get yourself a union and some good clamps and cut or remove the heater lines under the hood and hook them together so the water will still flow, it just won't go in the heater cores, your A/C will be a lot colder also.... by-pass both front & rear heaters for now....

Thanks for the reply. Couldn´t I accomplish the same thing by deleting the T and running the lines directly to the front box and still have some heat?
