Did a bunch of work the last few days on the 96. One project was to get a Raptor 100 in. I mainly did it because I had not installed one before and like to have knowledge of the products I sell.
It went very smoothly. Im the type though thats hates to cut anything like factory wires or fuel lines. So I used a modified version of my LP bypass fittings. (FYI: The Bypass fitting will also install directly to the Fuel Sending Unit (FSU). Thats also good to know for anyone that may want to replace rotted fuel lines with 3/8" diesel rated hose instead).
I used my LP relay harness also, but added a couple leads to it for electric fans on both the trans and engine oil coolers But! thats for another post.

Built a simple bracket for the FFM. Drilled and taped for 1/4" NPT and use some swivle fittings.
On the drain I have a ball valve.

Nice!

When my second walbro dies I will get one of these, if they still have the lifetime warranty.

A buddy of mine just got one and it came with the paperwork for a lifetime warranty. I thought I read someplace they got rid of it.

If you have not allready, I would get a relay to power the LP. I really think the factory 18ga wire is what is killing LP's
BTW I am making LP relay kit now
I'll look on my parerwork to see if they detail the warranty.
Also, I thought the Raptor would be very loud (like a Holley) but its very quiet.

Thanks for correcten my spellin missteaks.

You are welcome!

I do run a relay, just installed it. We will see how it helps. I plan on ripping apart the old walbro to figure out what is wrong with it.
