My 03 is driving me nuts at times. This problem seems to be intermitten at times and others not intermitten. The clock in the radio loses the time setting at night of extended shutdown periods. It apparently goes off and when I start the truck it comes on at some time other than what it is set for.

A couple of days ago the aux device box, that gets it's power from the radio, did not come on when I started the vehicle. I couldn't get it to come on at all. I shut the truck down for lunch and came back out and the aux device was on. It only did that once but the clock is an everyday thing.

Is there a relay or something that supplies the power to the radio for the memory settings? If so where is it?

Where can I get a wiring diagram?

You can find a lot of information here.. http://www.gmupfitter.com/body_builder_manuals.html

As for your specific problem, I would check grounds first (as always) then next look at your batteries; How old, have they ever been replaced, are you sure it's not a battery or battery connection issue? Do you have trouble with anything else or is it just the radio? How is your Aux adapter wired in?

Thanks. I looked at everthing I could find that said electrical in it and never did find the schematics. Thanks again.
