Hi guys, I have a '95 GMC 6.5 Suburban. While investigating a slight leak from the upper hose connection, I found a piece of the hose connection from the radiator missing. I then found the piece jammed in the thermostat which explained my overheating problem. There was enough on the radiator for me to double clamp the hose to secure it. It is still seeping slightly and I'm afraid it will slip off. I've been looking for something to repair it with. Any ideas?

Remove and replace. Back in the day when things were made with metal... "repair" was a common English word. Now in the days of plastic the vocabulary has changed to "replace". I have seen people patch cracks on the plastic parts of radiators with JB weld but it was always a temporary thing and just got them by till they could save up for a replacement. And in doing that you risk having it blow off and leave you stranded somewhere. (It will happen at the worst time too)
