Quick Disconnect Help

Need to replace a leaking Quick Disconnect fitting on my Yanmar tractor and having trouble locating the replacement. Already tried replacing the o-ring in the female side, but did not work. Drove around Missoula hitting NAPA, Murdoch’s, tractor supply and two tractor dealers, but nothing. Everyone recommends Northwest Equipment, but not open until Monday.

I have a Pioneer (made by Parker) 1/2” body (4050 series) female disconnect with ORB threads using o-ring seal to the pipe. I believe the threads are 1/2”. It is held in place by a snap ring. Here are some pics:

Quick disconnects arrived today. Replsced the leaky one, ran the tractor, operated the front loader, left newspaper under the fitting and no leak.

I bought a pair, which is how they come. Was tempted to buy more, but I wanted to make sure of size and the right type. Also, shipping was free.

I just got in from splitting wood and making several hauls with the tractor. No drips, so all is good. The only negative with the fitting is that I could not push it back far enough through the bracket to get the split ring to seat in its groove. It is holding it solidly in place (see pic above). Some adjusting with the solid pipe will fix that. It is literally like 1/8” shy of seating in the groove.
