my new to me 2006 sierra slt,lbz has two tsb. the one for glow plugs was done, the tranny one is not done, before i go to the dealer,i would like to know is this normaly done free of charge or are you suppose to pay i now have 133km,so all warantys are done exep engine witch i think its covered to 160km thanks mike

TSBs are typically handled under the appropriate warranty if symtons or problems exist.

It appears that you have not exceeded the powertrain warranty mileage/timeperiod.

What problems are you experiencing with your transmission?

The Canadian (6 sp LBZ) trucks had to be reprogrammed for the cold weather high idle circuit. I don't remember exactly why but I think it had to do with excessive backpressure on the pressure line to the cooler. I would call the dealer and ask them if the reflash is still free and needed for your truck.

yes thanks bill thats the one i was looking for as i do have high idle and yes i do live in northern ontario thanks i will check with dealer does anyone know of a reputable dealer in southern ontario as i would be willing to drive down to get this done thanks mike
