...and WOW, what a difference. My Truck stays almost totally Flat in the Turns now. Has only very slight Body Lean to it.

It's a 1.5" Solid Bar, it's the Biggest they make for our Trucks, or atleast that I could find.

Installation was really easy and as Simple as unbolting the Stock Bar and Links and putting the Hellwig Bar in it's Spot.

The only "hard" part was Compressing the End Link Bushings enough to get the Nut on. Because they were New, they were really tuff, so I had to use a Ratchet Strap around the Sway Bar and LCA and Crank it to Compress the Bushings enough to get the Nut on, then I was able to Torque it down.

But all-in-all it was really easy to get on, and took less than an Hour.

No, no Side-By-Side Pics, but even with the Old one laying in my Garage and the NEw one infront of my Truck before Install, just looking back and fourth at them, you can tell the New one is considerably Larger than the OEM.

james, do you think my truck at stock height would experience as much of a difference with your old rims? and how much did you pay for the swaybar?
thanks

Yea, any Truck will notice a Difference. The OEM Sway Bar is Hollow in the Middle. All the A/M Bars are Solid. So no matter what, you're gonna see a Difference.

How do you like the Wheels? You get 'em on yet?

thanks for the pm, I will probably look buy one of these sway bars my truck feels like its going to roll over when I turn, or maybe I should just slow down haha. I love the wheels, haven't had a chance to put them on yet I think I might wait a few weeks until some of the salt and sand gets cleaned up here since we still have snow and looks like were getting more this weekend. But cant wait to put them on, I think they will look really good with the silver birch

One of your End Links might have even Fallen Off if it feels that Loose. Or the Bushings could be totally shot.

I only got 24k Miles on my Truck and the Bushings were DONE. Dry Rotted, Cracked, Warped, all that good stuff.

Here's my Links. This is at 24k Miles

If you don't mind sharing, where did you get the bars and what was the damage to your wallet? I have dually and would like to put a better bar on the front...only.

james, ordered mine today ... cant wait ! :D this and the rims should make the truck handle a tiny bit better..

yeah but now that your lowered and have the front bar your handling must be awesome now so you probably don't need one right?

Prob. not. And I'm going down Lower in the Front & Rear on Friday. So the Handling will get even better.
