Had some gravel delivered today for my lower garage driveway. The driver managed to get stuck in some soft stuff. We dug for a while, then I decided to use the Suburban to pull him up the driveway. Told my 15 year old son to get a couple of chains from the trailer, and chained the Kenworth to the Suburban. My son got his cellphone camera ready and I pulled the Dump up the driveway, and out of the soft spot. My sons eyes were as big as pie plates, and he forgot to take the picture...oh well the look on his face was worth it...

You need to buy one of those 3 or 4" stretchy straps. You'd really be amazed at what you can pull out then.

Shoot, that is light work compared to towing that fat Boxster around. ;) JK

Suburbans are awesome! Us Suburbanites need to start a club.

FWIW: I just sold my '56 Beetle. Now I can put the '79 911SC in MY garage where it belongs... Too many cars, I know.

OOOOH can I join?

Suburban, The legend itself. Because of reaching legendary status, it is one of the few things that GM has yet to kill. Last 3/4 ton SUV in production!

I take it that big ol body gives the rear a decent bit of traction, judging by it pulling a dump truck!

You can drive a Suburban anywhere and not feel out of place...jobsite to the golfcourse to Porsche club meetings...:)
