I have searched and found a few people that have them but would like them to chime in here if they can help. I am looking for someone to help me test my injectors. Due to a recient engine failure they are suspect to be bad (at least 1) I have seen threads on how to build one but really am strapped for cash right now and hope to be able to "bargain" with someone. You can call or text me @ 330 831 2919 I am located near Salem/ Youngstown Ohio area. Trying to get this done ASAP as tro I need my truck back and am useine a buddy's truck for now but don't know how long that will work. Thanks in advance fellas.

Figured out that I have all but the "T" to make the "grease gun" version. Iam not THAT broke so off to the store for that part.......

let me know if that works for you. want to build one myself.

worked out fine, not sure exactly how it is supposed to work but believe I have it figured out. If I pump until I feel resistance on the handle and then give a good firm pump the injector sprays and the gauge reads the pressure as long as I am pushing the handle (mine are low right now... 1700-1800psi by my method) the spray pattern looks good to me, but what concerns me is that I can actually make the injectors "squirt" a stream not "spray' as they should. Now that being said, I was actually trying to build the pressure slowly and see when it "popped" but never actually got a "pop" but If I tried to build rappidly (as the inj pump would) they sprayed and the guage "hovered" at the reading. I could push harder on the handle and get the pressure to build more but I believethe object is to see the lowest pressure at which the inj sprays not squirts.

Now after that long winded post....... anybody got any thoughts.....?

were you able to get a stream on all of them? did they all act the same? if so, could be the tester itself.

They all acted pretty much the same. Added a shim to one and it seemed to act better, soo I'll set them all and go from there. Got em all soaking again to ensure they are clean.
