Hi, can someone tell me the easiest way to remove the pmd on a 98 6.5.

Leave it where it is and gat the new one remote mounted. That's what a lot of us do.

If you're having problems with the PMD/FSD, the damage is already done. Go ahead and invest wisely and get a new one remote mounted OUTSIDE of the engine bay. Like guybb3 said, leave it alone and get a new one.

Hi, can someone tell me the easiest way to remove the pmd on a 98 6.5.

No easy way on 98, I dare say it's impossible unless pulling intake or moving IP, 98 has dual stat and a/c in way of things, best to leave where it is, then buy a remote locator kit, best one on market is the Heath one, as it is only one to come with a 7yr warranty for subsequent fail.
