peninsulars optimizer turbo?

Dose this turbo look familar? This is the peninsular optimizer replacement motor. looks a lot like the att

The Turbine and Compressor housings aren't the same. The ATT has taller and narrower housings, especially compared to the exhaust side. That on is to wide.

But I wonder how it performs...

I emailed him and all he would give me was a price . 790.00 turbo only/920.00 with elbow. I think thats awfull steep for an elbow if you ask me.

Heck Yeah. I could have my local shop make that alot cheaper. Is it wastegated ?

IIRC the Pen turbo was out looooong before the ATT....

I can only seem to dig up that it is called their '300 HP turbo' and guys were talking about it on their rigs way back in '05 on the old site.

A member by the name of FNG had it on his rig.

Thanks for the link, Chris. So it looks like the Holset HY35W is a better chioce than the Peninsular turbo?

The problem with that thread was that there was no real quantitative data....need more to compare...
