Like title says, front flashes and no rear signal. Nothing was wrong with bulb element, but changed it anyway. Went under truck and cleaned the ground at frame. Any Ideas? Thanks.

Cant remember proper name, socket assembly? hook up a meter at the wiring going into the connector to verify power is to that point, if so and not at the bulb contact points, time for a new assembly. The entire units tend to "burn brown" before going bad.

That side burnt up about five years ago and I replaced it. I guess I'll head out with a meter and check for power. Thanks for the input.

I have been using dielectric grease on everything for years. The taillight assembly is not burnt up like last unit. Still haven't checked for power and bulb contact as raking snow off my buildings took priority. Just the pain I was looking for a week before back surgury. I guess the circuits can burn up without looking burnt up. The drivers side is original and I got the pass one from GM. Probabably gonna rock auto this one or lmc. Thank again and does your 6.5 use the oil filter adaptor use the set with the copper seal? Kascar sent me the wrong set and told me to keep it and sent correct one. If it does PM me an address and I'll send it over. No sense in keeping parts I wont use.

I can't remember what mine uses, but it isn't leaking now that I changed the exhaust and can get to it to snug it up. Thanks though, maybe someone else here could put it to use.
