Who all has done this? And what color would you do it in?

Painted Bowties

black with a blue line through the middle.

I like it Trout! :D :D A thin blue line!

What is the matter with the pretty Gold colored one? :D
Just kidding. Many members have gone black. Someone did a DIY on taking the bowtie off of the grill and painting it and putting it back on. I'll see if I can find it.

I've thought about black.

I saw a black duramax in town the other day with a Black bowtie, and it looked awesome, but the truck was black so..

My next Duramax will be black, I've done made up my mind.. :D

Yup, subtle but understood by those who know. The silly "gold" was peeling and was looking rather pathetic.

Taking the bowtie off my truck was a piece of cake. Pop the hood, remove the plastic shroud above the radiator, reach down and unscrew the two nuts holding it on.
