Overflow tube rub through?

I found that the upper overflow tube was partly rubbed through while I was doing some maint. today. I taped a length of 3/4" heater hose around it. You might want to yank out your airbox and take a look at yours just for grins.

I finally just took a look at mine and I had the same thing going on. All fixed now.

mine was moved and removed and replaced far to many times before it even had a chance to wear through lol
