A friend of mine kind of shattered the front left outer CV joint on his '02 Grizzly. He has some extra axles that look like they are from a different year because the outer area looks different, but the internals look to be the same. The thing is, I can't get the CV to sepparate. There is no clip or retainer of any sort to remove to dissassimble this thing. A friend of mine said the outer CV is not servicable, only the inner. Is this true? If so, then I guess he'll have to go buy the correct axle and/or outer CV with hub and shaft?? :confused:
