Used to be able to recover dead Optima batteries. I exchanged this set so many times I finally gave them away. (All other Optima's I owned and could I returned for refunds.) Friend brought this one back by to see if we could recover it. IF we could find the dammed receipt from the last exchange it would be replaced yet again. The other one given away has cracks around the posts again, but, it still working: both in gas rigs.
