I would like to recall any OPS EXT HOSES that may be giving the following problem.
mitchedo PM'ed me that his gauge did not work after putting in the OPS EXT HOSE he got from me. It appears some will need an additional ground wire to be installed from the female fitting to the male fitting on the OPS hose itself. I can easily add this wire in the assembly process or might just start to use a stainless braided hose instead.
If you have the grounding problem and don't want to return the hose you can attach a ground wire to the female fitting on the OPS EXT hose and run it to a bolt on the engine to obtain a good ground.
I am going to sell the grounded version only to avoid any problems from here on out. "Nip it in the bud"
If you want to return your old OPS EXT HOSE I will exchange it for the new version, no charge to you other than the shipping to get it here.
FWIW: I have three different 6.5 trucks and none of those hoses are grounded, but they work just fine. No problems with the gauge.
