I was on my way home this evening from a long weekend out with my wife towing the RV. Had the Hypertec on level 2 as I have tried once before with no issue. I came around a corner and hit a short steep hill getting back up to highway speeds - leaned on it just a wee bit to get it rolling.
Check engine light comes on...P0299. I looked it up and it said turbo underboost?
Ok...I'm confused...I do have the Kennedy Boost stick and have been running that for the better part of the year with no issues with the Predator.
Is this something to do with the Hypertec? Does it not play well with the Boost stick? Or is something else going on...the truck just got past 14k miles.

I do have gauges, just got them installed a couple weeks ago. I haven't been paying much attention to the boost because my numbers were lower than I expected. Pretty much 7-16 or so (I'll have to look again to see)...I don't lean on it much, but I really doubt I could get it over the low 20's even romping on it.
Could someone tell me what range I should expect to run in? I do have the LBZ, and like it said, don't lean on it as a rule, I try to save my fuel for the most part.

Hmmm...I took the boost stick off (Kennedy) and now the boost reads a bit higher. The boost levels also seemed a little more active, so I leaned on it a bit and actually hit 26...never did that before (at least since the gauges).

Think I'll try it like this for a while. Maybe that boost stick wasn't working so good on my LBZ...
