Background Info: As most of you may remember I have a bypass filter setup with hoses going from the stock filter location to the passenger side where the filters are. There is a plate w/ 2 fittings for hoses at the stock filter location. I have sprung a leak on one of the hoses (one is in flow and other is out flow). How much oil will come out of there when I replace the hose?

It's not a lot, just what's in the lines as stated before. Enough to make a mess, but prolly less than a pint.

When I did my remote filter setup, I modded the OEM filter adaptor (pic in my album). Thought the 2 piece adaptor the remote kit came with might be even more leak prone than the OEM part. Mixed results in relation to the stock 4x4 adaptor's tendency to leak. New o-rings but it's still not 100% tight; not a significant leak but enough to be annoying after spending the coin for braided stainless plumbing. May end up going with the spiffy Canton Racing products adaptor although I'd really hoped to avoid spending more.

Although expensive, I went w/ braided stainless lines as the thought of an oil line rupture draining the sump makes me cringe.

Oops, i forgot you live in the tropics, poor fella:smile5:
Thats funny. ):h I am actually 2 hours from the ocean and 1 hour from the snowy mountains. But I guess to you anywhere it doesn't snow is tropical to you.:D

Well I figured it out. One of my clamps was broken. I looked good but once I started adjusting it I could tell there was a problem.
