Oil in the Intake Manifold

I had just done a Intake manifold swap and had to remove the horn after about 100 miles to make access to coolant crossover, and I noticed its already got oil in it.

There was also a puddle oil in the rubber boot from turbo to horn.
I checked My CDR over the summer and it passed the water test. I figure it could be a couple things...

a) oil from exhaust coming back thru the turbo (no oil out of tailpipe)
b) Turbo leaking oil ( turbo shaft felt fine ...no excess Play or drag)

Anybody else seen this or have any ideas?

The CDR does draw in oil vapors into the intake manifold so its not uncommon to have oil in the intake. However... a "puddle" is a bit more than some vapors. Could be caused by worn seals in the turbo that's letting oil get into the intake plenum. Could be that your starting to get a bit of blowby. Fire the engine up and take the oil fill cap off. A healthy engine won't have anything coming out, an older engine will have smoke coming out of the tube. Though with only 75K on the clock you shouldn't have anything to worry about there.

Well I Got a Replacement CDR for $55.....I hope it Helps.....If not I 'll have a Spare.

I did notice that when I changed my Intake Manifold the Intake Valves Stems all had Deposits on them..... I wonder if Its from Sucking the Oil in Over Time.
