am getting ready to replace oil cooler lines on a '99 early model; any help on grill and related parts that need to be removed to get at the oil cooler? thx

Just the grill. Remove parking lights Then grill has one screw behind each parking light. 4 Screws along top of grill, two in center one by horns another alittle lower.

What kit did you get?

Welcome! More VA people!

Yes, just remove the front grill and that will provide all the access you need.

... Depending on your old hard lines they could be a bear to get out. Save money for the cursing jar :)

I use a set of right angle open end wrenches to install the kits. I've also found it helps on many thing to have the block heater plugged in things seem to come apart better when warm. Especially the 4x4 oil filter adapter in this case
