Have a #4 resistor in the FSD mounted in the nostril.

Got a fresh extension cable, as my old one has some visible chafing , and a new #9 resistor to go in at the same time.

Will I need to do a TDCO relearn by installing the different value resistor on the OBD 1? or is it plug and play? Other concerns I should be aware of?

true, it will self learn, but if you want it to learn right away and have scanner then running TDCO relearn will update it. You'll probably notice a bit more power, considering a #4 is like to pull fueling back because it was a bit too much on the bench.

50 koko cycles is about a week of driving for me, so I wont force the issue.........Provided....
it will relearn the same offset I have it set at now? or will it attempt to revert to a stock value?

I'm doing FTB and a cummins lift at the same time, so I hope I notice a bit more power from something....

Question for OBD-I stuff is it 50 key cycles or 50 warm up cycles,?

OBD-II adaptive learns all it's other parameters after X cycles I think 50 passes thru 170F coolant temp TDCO & resistor has to be "taught via ko/ko or scan tool learn command

I cant say for sure if its warm up cycles, since its just a resistor relearn it could just be key cycles. I dont think we have any adapative learning.
