is it possible to replace the the input on one? I am rebuilding my transmission and the splines on the output shaft where about half gone, see post 21 here, the input of the Tcase is the same way and i am unsure if it can be reaplaced easily? i do have a spare t case out of a 92 k2500 LD gasser, not sure if they are the same or not; and im trying to desided which is the better rout to take. fix the one or just use the other (if i can)

thanks

well since that and the diffs is the only part of the drivetrain that aint been rebuilt it wouldnt be a bad idea but im very anxious to get the truck back on the road so that is why i was wondering if the input was easily replaceable.
