Ok my truck just did this for the second time in a week. The first time i stalled it while pulling my camper.....my fault. This time I stopped at a store. Both times it would crank over but not start. And both times i got somebody to pull me, and it started right up when i let out the clutch with it in gear. Otherwise no problems. Sometimes it will take a couple of seconds to fire up, but normally within a second it's good. So what do i need to look for here?

it starts with rpms, but not with starter, slow crank from batts or starter or wires. LP dead, too much vacuum in tank?

Other than that would need more info from the checklist, like lift pump diagnostics and codes and such.

ok got it fixed, replaced starter and new bolts. Good thing for lifetime warranties. Had replaced it last summer too. Autozone. The new starter has a lot bigger body(diameter) than the old one. Starts like a champ now.
