no start on a 1994 Blazer

Good day all,

A friend of mine bought the exact same Blazer than mine (except mine is the nicest one of course )

He exchanged her with his K1500 pickup and was happy with the deal.

Then the Blazer started stalling and finally didn't start.

Put a new PMD and extension, I hot wierd the lift pump, and she started again, for 2 days, then she stalled again several times, and now doesn't start anymore.

• I checked all fuses : OK
• I tried the PMD & extension on my own Blazer : starts very easy and iddle/run fine
• check LP, plenty of fuel at the IP inlet
• pull out the Fuel shut off solenoid: works OK
• crank an injector : no fuel
• disconnect CPS and optic sensor : no start, not even limp mode
• absolutely no smoke at the exhaust
• grounds look fine, though I told him to clean all of them : to be done soon
• good batteries and starter spins strong

So, obviously, the injectors get no fuel : IP?, PCM?

No DTC stored, I also noticed "service engine soon" lamp blinking, and very quick to no glow cycle.

I must say I'm a bit loss :???:

so how can the SES blink and not store a code? non working glows can make it act like no fuel

Don't know why AK. The light wich blinks is the SES one, not the Check engine one.

We checked the glow plugs individually, they are fine.

Even if we manually override the glow plug controler,, there 's no change...

Is the ignition switch also a "no start" possibility on a 1994 Blazer?

I might would swap the ECM from yours to the other and see if anything changes... and maybe the PCM also....
