No OD, engine reving up

Hi all,





I have a problem with a 4L80E : this 4L80E not only doesn't shift to OD, but once you reach speed of 55MPH, just where it is supposed to shift to OD, the engine suddenly revs up, like if you were suddenly going into N, and engine then stays in high RPMs, like if it was slipping...

1 to 2, and 2 to 3 goes very smooth...

The MIL is ON when I put the trans on D, 3, 2, 1 or R, and OFF as soon as I put it on N or P.

I will read the code tomorrow once I get my scanner.



Any idea?
