Hello boys and I hope some girls from this comunity.

I`m Alex from southern Germany, I´m 46 years old an a car testing and inspection engineer.
The reason for staying here is, that i bought this year a 1995 Thor Pinnacle RV.
It based on a Chevrolet P30 motor home chassis, and its powered by 6.5 TD-Engine.

This big RVs are very rare in Germany, but for my wife and my three children, I wanted a comfortable Truck.

The RV is well equipped, and some important improvements were done by the two former users:
-Removal of the PMD
-Henderson SuperSteer Coilspring
-Henderson SuperSteer Bell Cranks
-bigger tyres 245/70 R 19.5
-an overhauling of the 4L80 E transmision an mounting an extra cooler.

The equipment codes shows, that is was produced for the European marked.

After changing nearly every oils and the breaking fluid and -hoses and -pads, we have done a holiday trip to Sweden over 6000 km without any problem.

Next year I will do some more imrovements.

The electric fuel pump is a little bit noisy
I will mount some gauges: fuel preasure, manifold preasure and exhaust temperature, so I can do a little bit for further performance.

I hope my English ist not to bad.

Now I´m curios if somebody is interested.

If so, I can tell a litle bit more over the car.

Good bye

Alex

Your English is 99.9% better than my German.
Sounds like a nice RV, got some pictures?
Welcome to TTS

I've got a P30 work van and it originally had a 6.2 but was repowered before I got it with a Cummins 4bt. Gutless wonder but I get 17mpg on the hiway.
