Hi, new to the site and the diesel world. Got an 08 2500 crew cab, want to know how to make more power and how much can the allison handle. would like to put this beast in the truck pulls.
 
Welcome!:beer: The allison can "usually" handle around 100Hp over stock. There are many variables though. Alot of it depends on how hard you beat it.
 
I agree with Jim.

It's how you treat it.

Welcome to the site. Better start saving for the built transmission if you want to the truck pulls.
