Just thought I'd remind you guys that bought new DMax trucks.
When you do your first oil and filter change, don't forget to do the Allison spin on and rear differential gear oil change.

Just hit 1000 miles today. Plan on changing the Oil and Spin on. How important is the rear diff Mike?

I think most wait until around 5 k for the differentials. I did oil and filter at 1000 and 5000 which is when I did the diffs. Amazing amount of crap on the rear magnet 1st time. I've been doing 50k changes since.

Then there's guys like me who didn't change the stock fluid till 65k...

But at least you DID change it... and I'll bet it was 2 qts low too.
