Racor has updated the PFF5544. This filter originally came out in 05. Now its been updated and made better. Its a true Coalescer filter and traps 99% of the water. See attached PDF.
Racor has always been the standard in the marine industry for trapping water. Water can cause all kinds of bad things to happen to a diesel injector so way not use the best when servicing you truck.
