Thinking of getting rid of my 2 gas trucks for one diesel. Any ideas on what look for in a used diesel truck? Best years? Common pitfalls?
I will be using for plowing and towing.

Welcome!

All 01'-09' trucks are decent. The early 01'-04.5' were known to have injector issues but otherwise they are all good. Alot depends on what you want to spend and what model year you like.
