That is true.I looked at every picture in the link and they look to be the real deal with the orange bands on them among numbers, etc but I also did see in another listing from another seller showing 6.5 Bosch injector boxes but the injectors were all shiny black with no markings on them from what I can see and no orange bands on them.I would definitely stay away from the latter type I found which I’ll post below.

Get the pressures set to within 25psi of each other. Ask for knowing what the starting pressures was.
That pays for itself in mpg. The improved power is just a bonus.

As to are they cko- the packaging, the part, even the etching on the nozzle is all duplicatable. Metallurgy test and hardness test are the only ways you can id the real thing at home. Thats what the factory has to do when investigating them.

I know of one buyer who took apart one injector to verify the nozzle and it has the Bosch logo on it with the proper nozzle part number.
That means jack squat.
They are making duplicates with wrong metallurgy. The manufacturer has to test them in person to id if they are real or fake.

If it is not an authorized dealer who only buys from the manufacturer- you have no way of knowing. The only exception I would throw in is Leroy because he understands the devastation it can cause and hasn’t ripped anyone off I ever heard of.

take one apart along with a known genuine one (old used one) and compare the stamping on the nozzles. where it's stamped at, size lettering and logo. that would be one way to tell. not that they could perfect it, but they do go to great lengths to copy things nowadays.

even on the needles. from what I have seen, genuine bosh all have a tiny flat spot on the tip of the needles. the copies do not.

They look genuine to me anyway.I’ll definitely use them in the near future. All the injectors are sold out now anyway.Everything made now or a few years back isn’t always counterfeit. There are still good genuine sets available out there.

Whatever You do, have them tested before installing them.
