I've been trying like the devil to get some Hankook dynapro ATM RF10 's in 265/75/16 E

they have been on national back order with no end in sight...they were a good price too at $675 without mounting, balancing and tax

just couldn't get them...I currently have Bridgestone at revo's and to replace those locally would be right at $1100 mounted balanced with tax and road hazard

So I made a switch to 17" tires and wheel combo:

Hankook Dynapro ATM RF 10's 265/70/17 E (still available)

mounted on MB wheels 72 series in Matte Black 17x8.5

Mounted, balanced a free replacement road hazard warranty(not pro rated)including shipping to my door for $1200 even... They should be here by Friday...

...and with 16" wheels going by the wayside in newer OEm applications I've bought a little insurance that I should be able to a good selection of tires for years to come(I hope)

I think you'll like the tires Paul.

Gonna be a good looking setup!

is that the tires you have?

I've also heard good things about them from other users...

I've always liked the black modular wheels..especially Nicks Teflon mohaves ...but Discount tire didn't carry those...so I hope the MB wheels coating be it paint or powder coat holds up...

I think they'll Look good.

Thanks guys :)

would probably look even better leveled or lifted...

on edit: just got the tracking info...won't be here until Monday, not Friday like I was told... :(

Those wheels are exactly the look I've been eyeing. Can't wait to see the pics on the truck. Gonna look great!

Nice looking combo. It's the same look I'm after myself. I bought a set of Hankooks for my PYO's in the 265 size and I'm very impressed on how quiet they are for the beefy tread they have.

Hankooks up this way are recommended frequently by the tire shops. You should have good luck with them. The tire and wheel combo I think will be a winner.

Yes I have those. Overall for the money you can't beat them I don't think.

I really don't hear much about Hankooks over here. Please keep us updated on ride/wear/traction.

I would tend to agree with your assessment of tire availability based on wheel sizes. With a lot of parts getting larger and larger, like brakes and as a result wheels, it was probably wise of you to upgrade from 16s.

It should be a good looking combo. Can't wait for the pictures. Do you have the option and are you going to run white letters out?

Be sure to post a picture of the tire/rim combo when you get them. I am curious what the 8.5" rim looks like on the 265 tire.

here's what they look like on the truck...I may have to get a black exhaust tip or(paint this one) get the front windows tinted to match the back and have the nerf bars rhino lined...

That looks good! It'll be an option for me. a lift kit is not in the budget right now and I do a lot of wheeling on back roads so rubbing is an issue especially when I have the wheels truned. So the 285's may take a back burner for a bit.
I was afraid the 8.5" wide rim on a 265 would look kind of hoop d'ed. kind of like the low riders with the rubberbands on the daytons.
Thanks for the pictures.

Looks great! I think I would do chrome lug nuts though (and maybe the very center cap) just for a hint of contrast and show the depth. Really like those wheels!
