I have a 2000 400ex that i bored over last year made it a 426 its got a after market cam in it aswell. It has been jeting and has the stock pipe on it right now. I also have a 01 300ex thats stock..

Now heres the fun question i have for ever one here. I plan on useing one of these for deer hunting this winter... Im not sure which one i should use I dont know how hard they will be to start in 10 degree weather?? I used my 400ex one year for hunting befor i bored it it done fine far has starting but it was not that cold that year. But with the bore done to it now will it be harder to start? Is there any thing i can do to help it start in cold weather?

My plane was to but a new utility the summer but some things came up so thats out for right now:nonod:...

Or should i use the 300ex? Need some suggestions please.

Use the 400. Boring it out will not change how it starts. Upping the compression ratio will. The 300s are neat little machines but may not have the grunt to get into some areas as the 400 will only having 2 wheel drive.
