Heath's is the best. He even replaced mine for the new owner of the truck. These PMD's are getting worse and worse.

Sounds decent, about the price of two PMDs from some online sources. Sometimes two in the hand could be worth more than three in the bush, or something silly like that. Make sure you always have a working spare is all. And mount it up right.

No problem, I think that the whole package is the only way to get the 7 year warranty.

I'm running my spare now and it's starting to act up.
The other one is DOA,
I just don't want to be stranded and the wife will be pulling the camper alone this year with the kids and I thought that if it dies she could swap in the spare and get to an O riellys easy enough to get a replacement within (24hrs). if not in stock.
A small price to pay for a piece of mind I guess.
