Need help with trouble codes

Like the title says, I have a couple of trouble codes that I don't know how to fix. I get the SES light on only after hard acceleration on the highway. Like when I go to pass someone. After I pass and slow back down to highway speed (65), the light comes on for a few miles then goes off. The 2 codes are:

DTC 34 - Injection Timing Stepper Motor Fault
DTC 41 - Brake Switch Circuit Fault

If anyone knows how to fix or what the problem is that would be great. Thanks.

the DTC-41 is probably the switch located on the brake pedal arm. it's kinda a b i t c h to replace, unless your a 9yr old boy. (small hands, can fit under dash and don't mind fixing things upside down) Do you have brake lights?

^ Yes on the brake lights. Everything I am finding on the stepper motor looks like I will need to take to a service shop to get it looked at and repaired. I have no concept on how to set the IP timing as the stepper motor has some function with timing and what not.
