Need help with Autopaint.Any autobody guys ?

I've been outta the loop for awhile. Last time I worked in a bodyshop they were still using Laquer and enamel and deltron was the new thing. Wifes Pilot hit a deer and I gotta paint this thing. Local dealer is PPG(Ditzler). I think they sell what's called DBU and DBC. Never used the stuff. Also can I spray it through my Sharpe 775 or do I need to upgrade to an HVLP gun ? I like my Sharpe and have always been able to lay enamel out of the gun jobs like glass with it. Also I probably have to blend the color coat into the door and hood. what prep do I use on the blend panels ?

Just me but you might do better in the exterior forum.

I have sprayed DBU and DBC with my 775. Maybe it isn't a recommended gun but it worked fine. Results were fine. I keep vowing to get a gravity fed gun but my old Sharpe keeps serving me well.
